Ramesh Ponnuru doesn't understand parents who politicize their children:

I just don't understand the impulse to recruit small children into sharing adults' political enthusiasms. I have not taught my little girl to pronounce the word "McCain."
Dreher adds his two cents. I find the politicization of children on both sides to be repulsive. The use of special needs infants as political props is even worse.
