Newest 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' Trailer Puts Spotlight Back on Katniss

The other trailers have been far more discreet about the film's leading lady, but this one is all about J-Law.

Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen is front and center in the new Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 trailer – a strong contrast from the past few teasers which hid the protagonist away. In this one, though, she's both fighting back against the Capitol and looking quite ambivalent about her role in the rebellion.

"I never wanted any of this," Katniss says to President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the trailer. "I never wanted to be in the Games. I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive."

"My dear," Snow replies, "it's the things that we love most that destroy us."

Elsewhere in the trailer: Peeta is alive – and brainwashed! Effie is present – unlike in the book! And, of course, the rebellion is alive, with President Coin (Julianne Moore) and Plutarch Heavensbee (the late Philip Seymour Hoffman) leading the charge. We're ready to see what District 13 has in store.

Barring another trailer or two, this will likely be our last big taste of the film before its release on November 21.
