Joan Rivers has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit and into a private room.
Melissa Rivers announced the latest development on her mother's Facebook page.
Rivers, 81, was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital on Thursday after going into cardiac arrest during a routine procedure at Yorkville Endoscopy on the Upper East Side.
While there were reports the comedienne was going to be taken out of her medically induced coma, Rivers remained on life support yesterday, her daughter confirmed.
