Emma Stone Officially Joins 'Cabaret' on Broadway, Replacing Michelle Williams

The actress will take over as Sally Bowles on November 11, with a stint scheduled through February.

Emma Stone fans, count your pennies; you'll need them to get to the Great White Way this November. As we thought might happen, the Easy A actress is joining the Broadway cast of Cabaret this fall.

Stone, who was originally set to play the role last May before Amazing Spider-Man-related conflicts emerged, will be making her Broadway debut in the revival. She joins Alan Cumming – now in his second revival of Cabaret as the Emcee – Linda Emond, and Danny Burstein.

The production, helmed by Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall, is set to run through March 2015, but Stone's stint is currently only set through February. Still, she'll have a few months to show off her vocal chops – which, despite limited prior experience, she does have!

Stone actually got her start on In Search of the Partridge Family, an American Idol-esque show that searched for people to fill the roles in a Partridge revival. Here she is taking a valiant swing at Pat Benatar's "We Belong":

And while it's not quite "singing," her lip sync battle with Jimmy Fallon indicates a definite ability to work a stage:

But her most delightful musical performance was easily her – dare we say it? – downright cabaret-inspired performance of "Knock on Wood" in Easy A:
