Less than a month before its premiere, HBO finally gives us a taste of the upcoming third season of Veep

It's not HBO's most heralded or lauded show, but Veep may very well be its funniest. Although, if this trailer is any indication, the show might need a new name soon.

Recall that season two ended with the never-seen president opting not to run for a second term, leaving Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Selina Meyer with a straight shot to the White House. And it would appear that season three will be all about her struggle (and you can bet it will be a struggle) to becoming "the most powerful person on Earth."

We don't see much of the rest of the cast in this barely-anything-at-all 30-second teaser — only Meyers' bag-man Gary trying to give the best response when she asks if she is "ruthless...enough."

Whether or not she's successful in her presidential bid, there seems to be a good chance won't see Meyer as veep too much longer, if she has anything to say about it: "I'd rather be shot in the face than serve as vice president again. Seriously, in the fucking face."

Veep returns to HBO on Sunday, April 6 at 10:30 p.m. Mark your calendars accordingly.
