Neil Patrick Harris as Javert. Jason Segel as Jean Valjean. Millions of people as skeptics proved wrong by this impressive collaboration.  

In an episode of "Inside the Actor's Studio" recorded just ahead of the series finale of "How I Met Your Mother," the two men were asked by none other than an aspiring actor to reprise their 2006 performance of the song "Confrontation" from Les Misérables. The two not-so-grudgingly oblige and manage to get even further into the song this time around.

Frankly, I had Jason Segel pegged more as Éponine and America as Fantine as "How I Meet Your Mother" lurches toward its conclusion, but this is a nice surprise.
