It's looking like Adam Driver, a.k.a. Adam from Girls, will play a villain in Star Wars: Episode VII. Here's one GIF from Girls that sums up what kind of bad guy he can be:
Okay, now that you've absorbed that—(It's from the season one episode in which Adam pees on Hannah while she's taking a shower)—lets move on. Variety's Justin Kroll has reported that Driver is "close to signing" on to play the Darth Vader-ish villain in J.J. Abrams' reboot.
In all seriousness, though, Driver might be an ingenious choice. He has shown he can clearly go dark on Girls, and the fact that he's a Juilliard alum implies he has range beyond vaguely threatening hipsters. Plus, it seems like a part in a blockbuster has been coming for some time now. Not only have there been rumors that he was going to do Star Wars, but he was also connected to the role of Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel follow-up.
And while Driver may be best known for Girls, the Huffington Post's Mike Ryan reminded us on Twitter that he has some experience with matters of OUTER. SPACE. before:
Update: Lena Dunham is into it:
We're VERY proud of Adam Driver re: Star Wars. He's about to rip a hole in da force. Is that a thing? I guess I should see those movies?

Though she insisted she wasn't confirming anything.
I confirm nothing bc I know nothing bc I'm on a plane with my dad! I just like Adam more than almost anyone, and JJ Abrams a whole lot too.
