Jamaica Has an Official Song to Sync to Its Bobsled Run

The Jamaican tourism industry wants you to get in the spirit of the Sochi. To help, they are promoting a song to play along during the Jamaican bobsled team's runs tomorrow. According to the website bobsledsong.com, the music "syncs perfectly with the rhythms of the bobsled track itself."
Part-Blurred Lines, part-Tootsie Roll, "The Bobsled Song" is a pretty straightforward ditty. Here's a small sample of the lyrics.
GOIN’ FAST,
FEELIN’ FREE,
FEEL THE RHYTHM
LIKE THE RHYTHM OF THE SEA.
Depending on how serious/nationalist you are about your country's success, you may not want to give it too many listens. According to the site, " Every time the song is played, positive vibes are sent to our Jamaican racers in Russia." As we noted last month, the Jamaican bobsled team didn't have an easy or certain path to the Olympics this year so maybe the team should be your sentimental favorite.
As for the song, I'm not sure this ranks quite up there with Toots and the Maytals or Desmond Dekker, but maybe the song will grow on me. Nevertheless, it's a fun idea.
The bobsled runs are happening tomorrow at 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. (EST).
