Stephen Colbert Gloating Over His Emmy Win Was Absolutely Perfect

At the Emmys Stephen Colbert appeared on stage to accept his awards as, well, himself and not the character he plays every night. "Stephen Colbert" finally broke his silence, and it was amazing.

At the Emmys Stephen Colbert appeared on stage to accept his awards as, well, himself and not the character he plays every night. While his acceptance speeches at the ceremony were grateful and humble, we were sure that "Stephen Colbert" might have something different to say when he came back on the air. And he did. Colbert called Stewart to gloat about how he broke The Daily Show's 10 year winning streak in the Outstanding Variety Series category, only when Stewart came out onstage he disappointed Colbert by being totally good natured about the loss. Hilarity ensues.
