In New York City (where all of The Wire is based except for our lone Canadian correspondent), getting stuck in traffic on a freeway isn't really a common occurrence. If it were, some of the sturdier and courageous staffers would probably invest in a motorcycle and learn how to lane-split, which seems like the best way to bypass all the traffic ... that is, if you don't mind drawing the ire (or is it admiration?), like this rider did, of a fuming LaBeouf:
