Jason Sudeikis is Officially, Finally Leaving 'Saturday Night Live'

For the past two seasons Jason Sudiekis' future on Saturday Night Live has been a question mark, but he will finally confirm that he is indeed leaving the show in an interview with David Letterman that will air tonight.

For the past two seasons Jason Sudeikis' future on Saturday Night Live has been a question mark, but he will finally confirm that he is indeed leaving the show in an interview with David Letterman that will air tonight. "I’m definitely done. I’m not coming back in the fall," Sudeikis The two then joke about how he "should have" let the folks at SNL know before he revealed it. So that's pretty official! We, of course, have known this is coming for a while. Even last year it wasn't clear whether he was going to last the whole season or whether he was just doing the show a favor by supplying them with Mitt Romney impressions. In May it seemed like cast member Jay Pharoah spilled the beans on Sudeikis' departure on Twitter, though he quickly deleted the tweet.

This once again affirms that SNL is in a major period of transition, and its still unclear who will fill in for Seth Meyers as head writer when he goes to host Late Night. As for Sudeikis' burgeoning movie career? We're withholding judgment on We're the Millers
