Last night fashion luminaries gathered at Lincoln Center to honor each other at the annual CFDA Fashion Awards. And, sure, you can read roundups of the awards, or browse through countless photos. But we decided to consolidate things for the fashion half-forward this morning. Here are 15 photos that tell you pretty much everything you need to know about the awards: who won what, who looked good, and who wore something crazy. (All photos via the Associated Press.)

Of course, the most talked about attendee was not even from the fashion world. Hillary Clinton attended to present Oscar de la Renta with the Founders Award. Clinton wore a blue de la Renta top with matching pants as she joked that she was going to pitch a show to Bravo called "Project Pantsuit." Clinton and de la Renta, who said he hopes she's the next president, headed to Henry Kissinger's 90th after they were done with the CFDAs.

Ralph Lauren presented Vera Wang with her Lifetime Achievement Award while wearing blue jeans and cowboy boots and a tux jacket. According to The Cut, Wang was tearing up.

Thom Browne, meanwhile, wore shorts to collect his menswear designer of the year prize.

Metallic looks were deemed a trend thanks to folks like Nicole Richie, who stepped out in this Marc Jacobs number.

And Miranda Kerr just look great in Proenza Schouler. The men behind that label, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, won one of the night's top prizes: womenswear designer of the year.

Romeo and Juliet—excuse us, Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth—were pretty adorable, we guess. They presented the Swarovski Awards and apparently did a bit that didn't go over too well, according to Amy Odell of BuzzFeed.

Sunday Styles subject Zac Posen dressed (and palled around with) Juliette Lewis.

And Kerry Washington, not shockingly, ended up on best dressed lists in yellow Jason Wu.

Fellow presenter Jessica Chastain opted for basic black Givenchy.

Jemima Kirke (a.k.a. Jessa from Girls) went without pants (sort of) as she posed alongside award-winning jewelry designer Pamela Love.

Rooney Mara was all straight-faced and awkward hands in Calvin Klein.

Her sister Kate, in Dolce and Gabbana, alongside jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth, managed to crack a smile.

Now, vote which sister duo is better: the Maras or the Olsens (Elizabeth and Mary-Kate).

Grace Coddington wore sneakers.

And Betsey Johnson showed up looking like Betsey Johnson in a prom dress.
