Tommy Lee Jones Is the Meme Champion of the Golden Globes
Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell did an amusing bit introducing his co-star, but Tommy Lee Jones was not impressed. And so the Internet has woken up Monday to several viral iterations of his not-so-fun face.
During last night's Golden Globes Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell did a quite amusing bit when announcing the nominees for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical, riffing on their films while acting as if they had no idea what the films were actually about.
Tommy Lee Jones, the subject of an instantly notorious camera cutaway when his (absent) Hope Springs co-star Meryl Streep's nomination was announced, did not seem to be getting the joke.
And thus, he became the meme champion of Sunday night's show, and the Internet has woken up Monday to several viral iterations of that face above. Like so:

The face he made also drew comparisons to McKayla Maroney's famous "not impressed" face, and, of course, a hashtag was born.
