Jon Stewart makes a good point: After the wall-to-wall coverage of Prince William's wedding last year, shouldn't we in America be a little royal'd out by now? Well, not yet at CNN. Personally, we think Americans should have stopped caring about the British royal family way back in 1776. So we're with Stewart as he took CNN down a peg or two on last night's Daily Show for its two-hour coverage of Queen Elizabeth's 60th anniversary. From this side of the pond it just seemed to involve an awfully boring display of boats floating down the Thames. But leave it to England's own Piers Morgan to liven up the coverage with his color commentary, calling it an "orgy of excitement." But based on CNN's own images of a seemingly unamused Queen—we're told she doesn't smile frequently—we'd have to say that she disagrees.
