Behind the Scenes at the Marshall Amps Factory

"Jim Marshall's famous black box allowed bands to be heard by larger crowds than ever before," William Weir explains in "How the Marshall Amp Changed Rock -- and the Meaning of 'Loud.'" Looking back at Marshall's legacy, Weir traces the origins of arena rock back to the inventor's first amplifier in 1962. Here, a short documentary celebrates "the craft and the pride" that goes into making the iconic amps. The film was directed by Charlie Doran to promote Movember, a men's health nonprofit that raises awareness of prostate cancer.
