Bill Clinton called into Morning Joe this morning to talk up The Spy Who Jumped Off the Screen, a new thriller about "soldier turned actor Ty Hunter [who] craves nothing more than some R&R after his latest Hollywood blockbuster…until he’s tasked with thwarting a potential nuclear arms deal." The book was written by Thomas Caplan, a classmate of the former president's at Georgetown, which explains some of his enthusiasm. Lest you think Clinton was just doing his friend a favor, Clive Cussler also deemed the book thrilling enough to give it a blurb, declaring it "the most ingenious thriller I've ever read." The dark side of the moon has been captured on film for the first time and -- confusingly -- there are no monsters in sight. This runs contrary to what Hollywood taught us to expect from the dark side of the moon. Though if there are moon monsters, it would make sense -- strategically speaking -- for them to duck out of sight and let the earthmen develop a false sense of security. [NASA]
Shepard Smith of Fox News was fed up enough with having to cover Donald Trump announcing his support for Mitt Romney that he plugged the network's upcoming coverage of the "Shakira and Big Bird" endorsements.
