No one has a reasonable explanation for this yet. Judging from the CNN host's inscrutable tweet, it appears that even Anderson Cooper himself has no idea why he is wearing a giant, fluffy Rabbit suit (full picture here) in a forthcoming story ostensibly about ape communication. All we know is that he can't be blamed for the attire: the apes told him to do it.
