Beck Says Own Show 'Worst Television Ever'

Liberal blogger John Amato at Crooks and Liars appears to have been the first to notice it. Glenn Beck is standing in front of his iconic blackboard, talking about how the left manages to "paint the right like Nazis." He connects this idea to progressives' view of George W. Bush. "And that makes my point on the railroad tracks, and I want to show you this again--I've added a lot to this," he says, turning to an incomprehensible chalked diagram. That's when he pauses and giggles, apparently overcome (1:11).

"This is the worst television ever done," he says, turning back to the blackboard and sweeping his hand over a giant mess of rectangles with words like "socialism" and "America" scribbled in. "We're doing it every day," he continues matter-of-factly. "Congratulations." Then on he goes with his explanation.

John Amato nods along: "Finally Glenn Beck says something I agree with completely," he concludes.
