Everybody knows Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation made a mistake buying Myspace, and now Murdoch himself has copped to the bad judgment on Twitter, one of the new breed of social media platforms that arose from Myspace's obsolete bag of emoticons. Oh, the irony! Myspace is a really a sore subject for Murdoch and News Corp., which took a 94 percent loss when it sold the service for $35 million last year after buying it in 2005 for $580 million. Murdoch's talked about it at shareholders meetings, but he doesn't often bring it up voluntarily. He's also pretty new to Twitter himself, and hasn't necessarily mastered it, but we're glad to see him sharing some actual insight. He shared this one toward the close of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas overnight. And it's the absolute truth:
