"The only meat I'm eating is from animals I've killed myself."

--Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in an e-mail exchange with Fortune's Pattie Sellers. And he's being literal. The dietary restriction he adopted this year has, made him "basically become a vegetarian." But he has had some meat, starting with a lobster. "The most interesting thing was how special it felt to eat it after having not eaten any seafood or meat in a while." The Facebook CEO explains that his goal is to remind himself that the animal he's eating was once alive and to be appreciative of what he has. Zuckerberg's new eating habits were first revealed in note to his Facebook friends reading: "I just killed a pig and a goat."
