President Obama believes a new era of bipartisan cooperation can begin. Now that the shutdown is over, he might be right... but probably isn't.

Plus, members of the House and Senate aren't the only ones occasionally given to spewing nonsense. During the final debt ceiling vote, a House stenographer took over the microphone and began shouting about the Free Masons, the Constitution, and Jesus Christ. She had to be dragged away, but the rest of the Tea Party were still allowed to remain.
