The Best-Dressed Pigeon Perch in the Park

Real estate agent William MacLeod used to think of pigeons as nothing more than rats with wings. That was until the day he found two abandoned baby birds in Washington Square Park and took them home. He raised them until they could rejoin the flock, but he still comes by to visit and let them hang out on his shoulders.

This documentary is part of Moonshot Productions’ New Yorkers, a series of short films about the city’s eclectic inhabitants.
