Meet Australia's Turbo-Charged Sarah Palin: Late-Night Comedy Roundup

At the Missouri State Fair in Jefferson City, a rodeo clown donned a mask of President Barack Obama’s face to distract an angry bull. Conan O’Brien took opportunity to joke about the bull’s reaction, connecting it to the American public’s patience for Obama himself. In other sports news, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel showed a photograph of Obama on the golf course this week, asking if Obama was golfing or taking a Zumba class.

The Daily Show looked toward Australia to compare politicians there to the those in the United States. Australia’s short election schedule -- the 2013 elections will take fewer than six weeks between the time they were called and Election Day -- makes for quicker rising and falling of candidates. Host John Oliver highlighted a particular candidate who resembled a former candidate for vice president in the United States.
