Fauna: A Bulldog's-Eye View of New York City

By Kasia Cieplak-Mayr von Baldegg

From the delightful documentary series New Yorkers comes an episode that's perfect for "Friday Fauna," the Atlantic Video channel's weekly celebration of adorable nonhuman species. Meet Harry Grumbles, an English bulldog who loves bacon, the ladies, and "being awesome." Narrating in a gravelly voice, Harry describes living the good life as one of 600,000 dogs in the city.

New Yorkers is an ongoing series from Moonshot Productions, a passion project completed alongside commercial work. The creators of the series, Erik Hartman, David Rowe, and Douglas Spitzer, discuss it in an interview with the Atlantic Video channel here. You can check out their profiles of a Shaolin monk, a locksmith, a graffiti artist, and more on the Atlantic Video channel
