How to Teach Yourself Lucid Dreaming

By Kasia Cieplak-Mayr von Baldegg

In this short, informative video, web series ASAP Science tackles the mysterious and alluring topic of lucid dreaming: becoming aware that one is dreaming and even actively shaping what happens in the dream. The line between consciousness and dreaming seems set but, the video explains, there are few simple strategies that might help you blur that boundary and take control of your dream world. Keeping a dream diary, for example, can help you get better at remembering dreams -- the first step to lucid dreaming. Mitchell Moffit and Gregory Brown, who produce the videos, talk about the making of the series in an interview with the Atlantic Video channel here.
