Correatown's 'Play,' Created by the Kids of OMG! Everywhere!

By Kasia Cieplak-Mayr von Baldegg

This awesome house party-inspired music video for Correatown's "Play" was created by 12 kids during OMG! Cameras Everywhere!, a free weeklong summer camp hosted by music video directors and producers in L.A. The team created six music videos for real bands in the course of the week, turning the constraints of low budgets and a kid-made, arts and crafts aesthetic into strengths for original, eye-catching videos.

In an interview with The Atlantic, the team behind OMG! Everywhere! explains:

We hope to establish our program as a platform for kids to collaborate with adult creatives, and vice versa. In doing so, we'll all learn to develop creativity and confidence, regardless of the artistic medium, and we'll all get to just be kids for a while.

The interview can be found here, along with a "trailer" video for the summer camp. Stay tuned for more music videos from OMG! Everywhere! on the Atlantic Video channel.

"Play" was created by Olimpia Aguillon, Enrique Baranda, Frogman (Jorge Baranda), Romy Flores, Erick Gredonia, Hana Hayes, Michelle Hernandez, Yasmine Kaner, Azul Niño, Jenny Ruiz, Captain Awesome (Ary Saravia), and Lynette Urbina, with support from DANIELS, Ariana Natale, Dugan O'Neal, Ben Fee, Benjamin Kutsko, Alistair Legrand, and Hiro Murai.
