"A band doesn't ask marketing what kind of song to write," Victore explains in his talk at the 99U Conference (formerly the 99% Conference). Here, the designer shares insights about the principles that motivate the work at his creative studio. Pulling no punches, his work has tackled issues like racism and commerialism with humor and bold visual lines. His clients have included fashion brands like Yohji Yamomoto and the City of New York's Department of Probation, reinventing motivational posters to reach a tough crowd -- people on probation.
