The Future of X: Julie Taymor on Film vs. Theater

The award-winning director discusses her upcoming projects and how she approaches storytelling across media, from Broadway musicals to Shakespeare.

Taymor has been successful across the spectrum -- her Broadway adaptation of Disney's The Lion King has been the highest-grossing musical of all time and she has directed several films, including Frida, The Tempest, and Across the Universe.
