Photojournalists on the Challenges of the New Digital Landscape

More

In Chimping, Dan Perez de la Garza interviews his fellow photojournalists about their passion for their work, and their struggle to survive. Professional photographers share their stories of fighting to get paid and to protect their work from theft online, while amateurs and citizen journalists compete for audiences. At the same time, their reasons for pursuing photojournalism are diverse and inspiring. The short documentary features Pulitzer Prize winners Preston Gannaway and Rick Loomis, Emmy Award winner Paula Lerner, Todd Maisel, Chris Usher, Angela Rowlings, Edward Greenberg, Stan Wolfson, and Rita Reed.
