In this video from NASA, astronaut Don Pettit demonstrates how water drops orbit a charged knitting needle in the absence of gravity, modeling a solar system. He points out, however, that the forces at work are different; here electric charges pull the water drops toward the needle, whereas planets orbit the Sun due to gravity.
