Playmobil Joy Division Plays 'Transmission'

This music video faithfully recreates a 1979 live recording of Joy Division's "Transmission" with Playmobil figures and stop-motion animation. The video was created by Software DR and HomeComing Films.

A behind-the-scenes video below documents the painstaking process of animating just a few seconds of the video. In the description, the filmmaker explains that this video represents over four hours of work to shoot 100 frames for four seconds of video.
