The Travel Film Archive hosts a fascinating collection of archival films documenting travels around the world, like this 1950s arctic adventure film. It's pretty politically incorrect, like many films from that era; the ship's mission is to capture a live polar bear for an American zoo, and the narrator explains that "Eskimo" means "raw meat eater" (this is generally disputed now). The footage itself, however, has some great moments, including seals, magnificent icebergs, and of course, a polar bear chase sequence.
