Amazing NASA Video of Aurora Australis as Seen From Space

The aurora australis, or southern lights, captured by astronauts aboard the International Space Station on September 17, 2011, as it traveled across the Indian Ocean from south of Madegascar to north of Australia. 

Earlier this month we featured this stunning stop-motion video of the aurora borealis over Iceland, by Ágúst Ingvarsson.
