Super Typhoon as Seen From Space

Astronaut Karen Nyberg took this photo from the International Space Station on Saturday. Super Typhoon Haiyan has devastated the central Phillipines. On the ground, thousands are estimated dead, cities are destroyed, and there is mob rule. From space, though, it's eerily serene.
