This video from NASA animates data from one of NOAA's GOES satellites to trace the course of the tropical storm Isaac from August 25-27. The GOES 13 satellite, which monitors the southeastern U.S., covers "hurricane alley" -- the portion of the Atlantic Ocean that generates tropical storms that often become hurricanes as they approach the U.S. coastline.
