Yesterday, the first day of spring, brought heavy rains and flooding to parts of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and eastern Texas. Above, what those storms looked like from orbit, in a picture taken by GOES-13, a satellite jointly operated by NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and NASA. According to the National Weather Service, some areas saw up to five inches of rain. The wet weather is supposed to continue today.
