In this 2010 picture, the International Space Station appears as it passes across the face of the moon. About 15 minutes after this picture was taken on April 5th, the shuttle Discovery launched and brought seven astronauts, supplies, and equipment to the station, arriving on April 7th. It stayed for 10 days, orbiting the Earth 238 times before returning to the Kennedy Space Center on April 20th, a little over two weeks after it had left.
