Things Apple Is Worth More Than: All of Atlanta's Homes, Singapore's GDP, and More

In late August, Apple's market value topped $340 billion. Josh Brown, also known as @ReformedBroker on Twitter, decided to start a little Tumblr demonstrating how much money that really was. He did all sorts of different calculations for random products from homes to silver. Above, you'll see our nine favorites.

Meanwhile, in the few short weeks between then and now, Apple's market cap has gone up another $48 billion as the company heads to a $400 billion valuation.
