Last year's release of the iPad demonstrated that e-reader technology could go far beyond replicating the paper reading experience. While gadgets like the Kindle and Nook merely digitize books, newer designs use touchscreens to change the way you interact with content.
IDEO, a design consultancy known for (among other things) creating the first Apple Mouse, has posted its take on the Future of the Book, one of our perpetual fascinations. So far they've come up with three new book concepts: Nelson, Coupland, and Alice -- "the faces of tomorrow's book." Check out the video, and ask yourself, "Is this how I'll 'read' to my children in 2015?"
