YouTube's live video streaming isn't just for corgis anymore. The Weather Channel is using the platform to broadcast their coverage of the storm as it approaches the New England coast and over 50,000 people are watching at this moment. Those of us who've already dumped our cable boxes will be especially grateful for the free programming. In other Sandy news, don't miss Alexis Madrigal's look at the four images that have meteorologists wringing their hands and live updates from the Atlantic Wire.
