Don Pettit, an astronaut on board the International Space Station, continues his ongoing educational video series with a demonstration of antibubbles. In orbit, 250 miles above the surface of the Earth, the space station experiences an almost zero-gravity environment called microgravity. Sans gravity, Pettit can fill a floating sphere of water with air, and then more water, creating a veritable Russian nesting doll of bubbles. The educational series, Science off the Sphere, is a collaboration with the American Physical Society.
