NASA's IceBridge mission captured this picture of the peaks of the Geikie Plateau region of eastern Greenland on April 16, 2012. IceBridge is a six-year effort to capture a 3D portrait of Arctic and Antarctic landscapes and document any ongoing changes to the region. The flights over Greenland are scheduled to wrap up in May. Beginning in October, NASA will fly over Antarctica.
