Michael Rigley, a graphic design student at California College of the Arts, uses animation to bring the nebulous cloud of personal information we accumulate online to life. The piece makes no claim to presenting numbers with infographic-style proportional accuracy; rather, the goal seems to be to give form to an abstraction -- mountains of data. Nonetheless, it would be interesting to know where Rigley gathered the numbers he uses in the video.
