Douglas Koke's Signal to Noise combines motion graphics with time-lapse footage of the Very Large Array, one of the largest radio astronomy observatories in the world. Located in New Mexico, the observatory includes 27 antenna, each 25 meters across. The playfully sci-fi graphics and electronic music by Telefon Tel Aviv give the video a futuristic vibe.

On his Vimeo page, Koke writes:

The VLA is a legitimately amazing thing to see in person. If you've ever considered making a visit, you should. It's an awe-inspiring feat of human engineering, and the surroundings are gorgeous. Unbelievable skies in New Mexico. I caught some nasty weather, but it was still a great experience. I'm definitely going back!
