This Post Used to Contain the Greatest Movie Ever Made

Sony Pictures UK just released The Godfather on YouTube. No, seriously, the whole thing is now watchable, shareable, and embeddable, all 2 hours, 57 minutes, and 9 seconds of glorious film.

I got so excited about it that I embedded here, just so you'd believe me. And also because I want to pad our time-on-site stats.

Enjoy.

Update 5:55 p.m.: Tim Carmody informed us that the movie is no longer available, as you can see for yourself above. My guess is that the sonypicturesUK YouTube account was fake and that when Sony or YouTube realized it, they canned the thing. But maybe there is some other more complicated explanation. I mean, that's such a bizarre thing to fake.
