The Most Subtly Creepy Website You've Ever Seen

britney and steve.jpg

The website is called Chicks With Steve Buscemeyes. It features photos of female celebrities onto whom Steve Buscemi's eyes have been grafted by Photoshop. It's hard to explain, but you can see from the Brittney Spears/Steve Buscemi mashup above how disconcerting this whole thing can be.

Unlike many Photoshop jobs, these photos aren't funny. The Photoshopping is too damn good: the color, tone, and orientation of the eyes match the base photos perfectly. Their impact is closer to uncanny valley than Selleck Waterfall Sandwich.

In any case, just letting you know because someone will be forwarding you this website this week.
