Video of the Day: Steve Jobs's First Television Appearance

This video of Steve Jobs is making the rounds on various tech blogs today. "Isn't [it] just the cutest thing?" TechCrunch's John Biggs asked. "It's Steve Jobs, age 23, getting hair and make-up done for a TV appearance, possibly with KGO-TV in San Francisco. Watch him gape in amazement at the live national feed that is carrying him into homes in California and New York."

The video provides a nice contrast with the Jobs that we know now, more than two decades later, as the slick Apple CEO who can work the stage with the best of them, hawking product after product to an American public unaware of its need for shiny new devices until Jobs presents them. "Considering Jobs has an aura of cool and calm about him it's fun to see a video where he's so nervous he says he's going to throw up before the broadcast starts," Business Insider's Jay Yarow wrote.
