Establish National Universities

The U.S. should open national universities throughout the country where incoming students can pay tuition similar to that of a state school while having the option to explore different regions and micro-cultures of this great country. Our state-run higher education system forces cost-conscious students to stay close to home, a practice that not only limits their development but contributes to the increasingly solipsistic viewpoints of our younger generations.
