The combed-cover celebrity announces another area of expertise -- and takes a step toward conciliation with the White House.
I am a handwriting analyst. Jack Lew's handwriting shows, while strange, that he is very secretive--not necessarily a bad thing.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 14, 2013
You just can't make this stuff up. Last week when President Obama nominated Jack Lew for Treasury secretary, Lew's preposterous signature was widely remarked upon -- including by the president himself.
Now real-estate-mogul-cum-presidential-candidate-cum-national laughingstock Donald Trump has weighed in. Who knew he was a handwriting analyst? (Of course, this claim only makes him more risible, but never mind that.)
It's interesting that Trump seems almost positive on Lew. Prior to his alleged bid for the Republican presidential nomination, he'd shown ideological flexibility over the years, and this tweet follows another in which he turned his guns on the GOP:
I am a Republican...but the Republicans may be the worst negotiators in history!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 1, 2013
Can we hope for a Trump bid for the Democratic nomation in 2016?
