Ever wondered what 24,199 emails look like when they're printed out?

The state of Alaska on Friday released that many emails sent to and from former governor Sarah Palin, on her official government account. News outlets began requesting copies of them shortly after John McCain named her as his runningmate in 2008, but Palin's office (and later the office of her Republican successor, Gov. Sean Parnell) delayed their release. On Friday, the state gave out printed copies of the emails to a handful of outlets, who have since been scouring them for anything newsy, telling, or bizarre.

Parnell's office said it didn't have the technical capability to redact sections in electronic copies, so news outlets received 55-lb boxes of paper printouts.

The Atlantic Wire, meanwhile, has been liveblogging the scooplets from and reactions to the release.
